“Jules Coll , the greatest radio presenter in Irish history. Inducted into the IMRO Hall of Fame after just one week on air. Record breaking. Iconic. Jules is to radio what the Spice Girls are to girl power. ” ~ Psychic Magazine 1994

Radio Presenting

My first foray in to radio was back in the late 90's. Broadcasting from a tiny garden shed,
Pulse FM hit the airwaves and pirated dance music across Dublin.
I hosted the breakfast show under the pseudonym Maria G. Ah them were the days!
Two decades on and I'm back to the airwaves and loving it! I've found my calling!
I'll be launching my Podcast in early 2019!
My ultimate goal is to have my own radio show on a national station! Watch this space!

I'm a staple on the panel of Will Hannafin's
show 'Sure T'was Better' on RTE Radio One.
Myself and the guests trawl the RTE radio archives
to question if life really was better the 70's & 80's?
Just how different were our attitudes to sex, religion
and race and are misty-eyes and a nose for nostalgia
essential when thinking about the past?
With guests on the panel including Pauline McLynn,
Emer McLysaght, Colm O'Regan and Joanne McNally
we've had gas craic listening back to the archive clips
to see how much or how little Ireland has evolved
over the decades.
You can listen to the programmes on
RTE Radio One here:

As part of the Today FM School of Radio we recorded a radio programme in the studios. I presented and interviewed our special guest comedic impressionist Al Foran. I created a series of idents for the show and they're voiced by my brother Gavin.
Over the years I've appeared as a guest on nearly
every major radio station in Ireland.
